Norman was born on July 28, 1968 in Norfolk, VA to Marie Dailey Warren and the late Norman Lester Warren, Sr. He was educated in the Norfolk and Virginia Beach Public School Systems, and graduated from Green Run High School (Virginia Beach, VA) in 1986. Upon graduation, Norman attended Virginia State University before deciding upon a career in the United States Air Force, where he served as a Fireman. When he and his family returned to the United States, he continued this journey of mentoring and counseling children. His dedication led to him to pursue different careers working with the youth in Virginia. He was a youth counselor for the City of Suffolk Department of Parks and Recreation, and was a coach for his sons’ basketball team, and an assistant coach for their football team. Norman went on to further his education and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology/Psychology from Old Dominion University in May 2004.
