Anthony Edwards is a player to look out for in the 2023 season. After an exciting 2022 season, the star has put the entire league on notice. The Minnesota Timberwolves young star declared that he need just one season of experience to lose free and impact the league as a superstar. His development is on the verge of a similar feat. And if some fans across the league feel like he hasn’t provided enough evidence that he can be a monster, Edwards recently posted a reel to almost prove them wrong. Ant has serious hops and he’s practicing some stellar dunks this offseason. He posted a video of a couple of his dunks, and they seem to have broken the rim. 

The practice session was viral, and his aggressive game was clearly visible in it. His dunks and moves attracted lots of praise, while some fans compare him with GOAT Michael Jordan too. Though the player has a long way to go in the league, he certainly is on the right path and team to make name for himself in NBA history.

Minnesota Timberwolves drafted many talented players in the past. But currently, they have 2 of the best 1st overall picks on their team in Karl Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards. The team also has D’Angelo Russell drafted 2nd overall by the Lakers back in 2015. So with a host of talented youngsters, the team already had a chance of making it to the playoffs.

But trading Rudy Gobert solidifies their claim on the title. Yes, the performance on the court is yet to be experienced. But on paper, they look solid in front-court with probably potent back-court support. Edwards averaged over 21 points last season and had some epic highlights throughout. Karl Anthony Towns led the team in points and rebounds so far, but now it might have strong support in the attack by Edwards.

With the acquisition of Rudy Gobert, he has the team around him to make waves at the business end of the season as well, the Wolves are seemingly ready to compete. 

As for Edwards individually, entering his 3rd season in the league, he will be hoping to make the same leap Ja Morant did for the Grizzlies last season. His performances are looking promising enough for the Wolves fans, and the current video showcases his efforts for getting better.
